Emily is a member of the firm’s real estate closing department, focusing primarily on the areas of residential real estate closings, contracts, and title clearance.  Emily will be working at the newly established Lawson & Beck, LLC Newnan office, where she looks forward to becoming more actively involved in Newnan and all of Coweta County.

Emily is a graduate of Robert S. Alexander High School in Douglas County, Georgia and is a native of Douglas County.  Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from the University of West Georgia.  Emily obtained her law degree in 2013 from the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, Georgia.  At the University of Georgia, Emily had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience representing under-privileged individuals in the pursuit of temporary protective orders, a legal issue about which she is very passionate.
